A crisp, refreshing electrolyte drink made with cucumber, mint, and a pinch of Himalayan pink salt for optimal hydration. This natural alternative to sugary sports drinks helps replenish minerals and keep you energized throughout the day.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 medium cucumber, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup fresh mint leaves, lightly packed
  • 1 lime, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 teaspoon finely ground Himalayan pink salt
  • 8 cups (about 2 liters) of cold, filtered water
  • Ice, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large pitcher, combine the cucumber slices, mint leaves, and lime slices. Using a muddler or the end of a wooden spoon, gently press down on the ingredients to release their juices and oils.
  2. Sprinkle the pink salt directly over the muddled mixture.
  3. Add the cold water to the pitcher and stir gently to dissolve the salt and combine the flavors.
  4. Let the pitcher sit in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld. For best results, infuse for 2-4 hours.
  5. Pour over a glass full of ice and enjoy immediately. Garnish with fresh cucumber slices or mint sprigs if desired.

Notes

This drink will keep in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. For variations, try adding lemon or orange slices, a teaspoon of honey or maple syrup for sweetness, or substitute half the water with coconut water for extra potassium.
