Ingredients

  • 1 packet (7g) unflavored gelatin powder
  • 1/4 cup boiling water (185 degrees F / 85 degrees C)
  • 3/4 cup cool or room-temperature water
  • 1/8 teaspoon Himalayan pink salt, finely ground
  • Optional: juice of 1/2 lemon
  • Optional: 1 to 2 drops liquid stevia


Instructions

  1. Pour boiling water into a mug.
  2. Sprinkle gelatin powder over the surface. Do not stir yet. Wait 60 seconds to bloom.
  3. Stir vigorously for 90 seconds until no granules remain. Temperature must stay above 185 degrees F.
  4. Add 1/8 teaspoon pink salt. Stir to combine.
  5. Pour in cool water to reach a comfortable drinking temperature.
  6. Add lemon juice or stevia if using.
  7. Drink 20 to 25 minutes before your largest meal.

Notes

For cold cube method: Use 2 packets gelatin, 2 cups water total, 1/4 tsp pink salt. Dissolve in 1/2 cup boiling water, add 1.5 cups cold water and salt, pour into dish, refrigerate 2 hours. Cut into 1-inch cubes. Eat 8-10 cubes 20 minutes before meals. Store in fridge up to 5 days.
