natural mounjaro recipe

Recipe by Molina

This natural herbal tonic blends vibrant, whole herbs with gentle sweeteners for a wellness boost. It is crafted using a layered infusion method to maximize flavor and potency, making it a perfect daily ritual.

  • Total Time45min
  • Yield4 cups concentrate 1x
  • DietVegan, Gluten Free

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/4 cup dried hibiscus flowers, organic
  • 2 tbsp dried ginger root, sliced
  • 1 tbsp dried turmeric root, sliced
  • 1 tbsp dried lemon balm or mint leaves
  • 4 cups filtered water, hot but not boiling
  • 1-2 tsp raw honey or stevia to taste (use stevia for vegan)
  • 1 pinch Himalayan pink salt
  • Optional: 1 tsp fresh ginger slices or citrus peel for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place the dried ginger and turmeric root in a heatproof jar or pot. Pour 2 cups of hot water over them, cover, and let steep for 20 minutes.
  2. Strain the root infusion into a clean container, pressing gently on the solids to extract all liquid.
  3. Return the strained liquid to the pot or jar. Add the hibiscus flowers and lemon balm. Pour the remaining 2 cups of hot water over the herbs, cover, and let steep for 5 to 10 minutes.
  4. Strain the infusion again into a final storage container, discarding the used herbs.
  5. While the liquid is still warm, stir in your chosen sweetener (honey or stevia) and the pinch of pink salt until fully dissolved.
  6. Let the tonic cool to room temperature, then transfer to an airtight, dark glass jar. Store in the refrigerator.
  7. To serve, dilute 1/4 to 1/2 cup of the concentrate with warm or cold water. Garnish with fresh ginger or citrus peel if desired.

Notes

For maximum potency, use whole dried herbs and store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. You can freeze portions in ice cube trays for longer storage. Adjust sweetness and herb strength to your preference.
