Pink Salt Sole for Cleansing

Recipe by Molina

A gentle morning ritual made with mineral-rich Himalayan pink salt, traditionally used to support hydration and digestion. This simple salt water solution is a long-standing practice in some wellness routines for internal cleansing and balance.

  • Total Time5 minutes plus overnight resting
  • Yield1 serving 1x
  • DietGluten Free

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 clean glass jar with plastic or non-metallic lid
  • High-quality Himalayan pink salt crystals
  • Filtered water

Instructions

  1. Fill a clean glass jar about 1/4 full with large Himalayan pink salt crystals.
  2. Add filtered water until the jar is almost full, leaving a little space at the top.
  3. Stir gently, then cover and let sit at room temperature overnight. The solution is ready when salt crystals remain undissolved at the bottom of the jar.
  4. Each morning, gently stir, then take 1 teaspoon of the sole concentrate from the top of the jar (avoiding the crystals).
  5. Mix with 8 ounces of room-temperature or warm water.
  6. Drink first thing in the morning on an empty stomach, if tolerated.

Notes

Important Notes:

  • Talk with your doctor before starting, especially if you have high blood pressure, kidney issues, heart concerns, or are on a sodium-restricted diet.
  • Do not exceed one serving (about 1 teaspoon concentrate diluted in water) per day.
  • This is a traditional wellness practice and is not a substitute for medical treatment. Scientific evidence for “detox” benefits is limited.
  • Store the jar at room temperature with the lid on. As long as some salt crystals remain at the bottom, the sole concentrate is saturated and will keep indefinitely.
  • If the jar, water, or lid ever looks or smells off, discard and start a fresh batch.
